WHERE DO YOU LIVE? Boca Raton, FL
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SHOOTING HEADSHOTS? I've done headshots here and there since I went into business 13-ish years ago, but I didn't take them seriously until I met Peter and joined HSC.
WHAT ELSE DO YOU LIKE TO SHOOT? I'm primarily a dance photographer and shoot a lot of families as well.
WHAT IS YOUR LIGHTING SETUP FOR HEADSHOTS? I use Westcott Solix lights and Buff Einstein and Alien Bee Strobes.
WHEN DID YOU FIRST DISCOVER PH AND THE HSC? I first met Peter at Imaging USA in early 2015.
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO JOIN THE CREW AFTER YOU FOUND IT? I joined HSC while I was at WPPI, the year after I met him.
WHAT IS ONE THING PEOPLE WOULD NEVER GUESS ABOUT YOU? I've run 2 marathons and 4 half-marathons and I was training for another one when the Covid virus forced everything to shut down.
WHAT'S ONE THING YOU WISH PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT YOU? I've got 3. Sorry...not sorry.
1. I'm super passionate about dance photography. I'm writing a guide for photographers on how to work with, direct and pose dancers. I love teaching it!
2. I'm super proud of my kids. I have 18-year-old twins who will be freshmen at the University of Alabama in the fall, assuming the world goes back to normal. My 20-year-old son is finishing his sophomore year at Brandeis University, where he is part of their fencing team.
3. My friendships, especially my HSC friends, mean the world to me. I can't believe we haven't run out of things to talk about yet.

Great Spotlight! I love your headshot, Sharon! It's a Hurley Headshot, isn't it? So, how many times will you have to run around your house to complete your Quarantine Marathon??? Don't forget to change directions occasionally! LOL.

Nice to meet you Sharon! You've got some beautiful dance images! Our oldest took ballet after school in high school and I dabbled a bit shooting her, but nothing like your images. And congrats on your kids (there's a lot of hard work that goes into getting your kids to college!) - we're here in Boston, and Brandeis is a great school. Am sure he has friends/community here, but if he/you ever needs anything here feel free to reach out.

Love this spotlight on of my favorite people in the crew. Thanks to Kim and Sharon for taking the time to do this. I learned that I have one more thing to talk about with Sharon the next time I see her, marathons! I never did any but did a few triathlons. I need to get back in shape so I can do some more!
