Really great shot! Congrats!

Fantastic shot, Vadim!! Congratulations!!!

Great Image! Congrats!

Really nice image. Well deserved.

Vadim Daniel could you talk about how you got the amazing fall off on her face from highlight to shadow. How much of this was in camera vs how much was post processing. It is so beautiful. She is glowing!!

Hello Vail
No much post production.
It's all about the right distance from a light source and by just watching where is the brightest spot

It just stops you in your tracks. So amazing!

You have great portfolio. But try to bring light source much closer to the subject.

Thank you! Will do. Most of those shots are from pre-hsc and I only got to try out the lighting on someone other than my kids and myself this past week when I finally got to open my new studio space. Before it was just in my basement. I shot weddings for years so I didn’t need a formal studio space. So glad to be shooting again!!! The modeling lights on my strobes are quite weak so seeing where the light is doesn’t really happen until it goes into the tethered monitor. But hey it’s way more instant feedback than film!!!
